I have been trying to get a picture of sweet Missy for a while now; she is always in the closet or on Toletia’s lap. But I got a good picture today, I saw her on her turbo scratcher, and I had Toletia take her picture with my phone. Toletia’s chair is right next to Missy’s turbo scratcher.

Now, about Missy, we adopted Missy 7 years ago, and she was 2 years old when we got her. That makes the beautiful baby 9 years old. Missy loves Toletia to the moon and back and always wants her on her lap. Missy will come up to me and rub on my legs and let me pet her, but she will not come up on my lap. I do have a keyboard on my lap at all times. But if I saw her moving my way, I would put it down in the blink of an eye.

Missy and I do have an understanding; she lets me pick her up, hold her, and give her pets. And we worked out a signal. Missy stays on my chest until she puts her head back, and that’s her signal to me that she wants down. Ssome times its after a few minutes, and other times it’s 10+ minutes. It just depends on her mood.

Having said all of that, we have had Missy so long that I don’t remember life before her. And I can’t imagine life without her, so I hope Missy lives to be 20+ years old.

20 years ago, I used to go out to eat all the time. Fast forward to today, and I get restaurant-style food with every meal. Toletia is an excellent cook, and if we had the money, I would open a restaurant, and the line would be out the door. I truly am blessed to be married to such an amazing woman!

Today’s breakfast was Tofu Scramble Wraps, and they blew my mind with how good they are with every bite. They consist of Tofu, spices, diced potatoes, diced onion, red peppers, lots of garlic, Franks Redhot, and wraps.  They are so good that I could eat them every day for the rest of my life and not get tired of them. You would just have to try one to see what I mean. In closing, I can’t wait to see what she cooks up tomorrow.

Sweet Alice is daddy’s and mommy’s baby. Alice is turning 16 years old this year, and you would never know it. Her coat is starting to turn gray, but she still plays like a kitten. And she gets the royal treatment from mommy every day/night. (Feeding time) She also comes and visits her daddy a few times a day for pets.

Alice has been a big part of my life for almost 10 years now. So long that I cannot remember life before her. She truly is a very special family member.

Alice is also the bravest cat in the world and hunches down like she is going to attack when someone is outside our door. But as soon as they knock on the door, Alice is running for cover. In closing, I know it might sound a little greedy, but I hope Alice is still with us 10 years from now.
